I'm afraid I know too little about them to know which species to search for. A library would have been of assistance, but it seems that is quite a journey away.

Perhaps I will find someone familiar with the Kanto region. There is a ferry that will take individuals there, and if the most worthwhile pokemon are to be found there, perhaps it is a better place to begin.
