It's not quite as bad as I first thought...though Ill admit my very first was an...experience. [Meaning she had no fucking clue what her Pokemon's moves did other than the ones that had sense to them like scratch and tackle and stuff.] After you get used to it, the battles become easier and easier, I've found.
