This is true, you will know your own companion very well. However you may not understand the breed entire, due to not dedicating yourself to that singular species in favor of the one pokemon you know best. Yours, however, may not be an example of the breed - it may be inferior, or vastly superior, or simply a little different. While I'm uncertain if any pokemon breeders here specialize in such a way, it is my hope to contact someone who does.
