FOURTH WALL EVENT [Actions] [Kanto - Celadon City/Route 16]
[Things have gotten a little.. odd, as midnight passed. Xemnas hadn't noticed at first, he was asleep and could sleep like the dead if sufficiently - but his Kadabra noticed, and after several minutes of waiting to see if the flash and thundrous crack of sound would repeat itself, went to carefully shake his master awake and relay what he'd seen.
The tent Xemnas had purchased in Goldenrod served well, keeping the late-year chill out (especially with several pokemon taking up residence inside with him), which meant getting on a few layers before venturing outside to watch the sky, and then the surroundings. His own senses were only as good as a human's, but with his pokemon now awake and theirs added to his own it's a little easier to tell that things are going a bit.. weird out here. More than a bit weird, was the landscape different?]
...Let's get moving. Whatever caused that, I don't want to be caught in the open for if it happens again.
[Malice glances at Xemnas, ears flattening back.]
::I have reason to believe we are in a new location, sir. This isn't Route 43.::
[That draws pause from Xemnas, who glances around again, this time looking for more than just shrubs and grass. ... And couldn't find fault with that conclusion. This earns a scowl and a sharp gesture. He didn't recognize the area. He'd never been to Kanto, nevermind being near Celadon City.]
Then whatever's chosen to shift us around like pieces on a chessboard won't find us waiting patiently the next time, will it?
[He sets to disassembling camp; after a moment the pokemon he has with hands begin helping. Time to get the hell out of dodge before anything else weird happened.]

Dream eaters that growl, several of them, at Xigbar's sudden appearance - and are silenced immediately by a short, sharp gesture from Xemnas. Of all the people he expected to never run into.. well.
Xigbar's on the short list. Life didn't work that way. He's given a quick once-over before nodding slightly to himself.]
Very little idea truthfully, if you mean your sudden arrival here; the powers that choose who to inflict on this small world seem to do so completely at random and without warning OR permission. Welcome to Kanto, of the world of legalized and endorsed magical cockfighting.
[The gesture that goes with this is wide and sweeping.]
They didn't see fit to give you a monster of your own, then? Too bad. If you stay I'll find you something ... appropriate.
[There doesn't really seem to be a lot of surprise but then again this 'emotions' thing was still a serious issue he had problems with. It's a little strange, how he can go so long without seeing another Organization member, and then when one turns up, snap right back into old routines.]

Kanto, huh. Can't say that's a world I'm familiar with. Sounds interesting though.
[Sounds kinda like the Colosseum but clearly with better things than whatever Heartless have been rounded up.]
So what's your plan for this place? Because you not having a plan? As if.
no subject
It's diverting, for a while.
[But only for a while. Sooner or later there would be nothing left to do and the age-old desire to be elsewhere would resurface.]
For now, I must satisfy myself with global takeover. There really isn't much else to do. The barriers between worlds haven't been properly shattered yet, and if I ever intend to leave this wretched rock I'll have to get to it.
[World takeover and then world destruction. Xemnas didn't really bother with simple plans.]
Oh. My first self is in this world as well, without a peep from protesting timestreams. You should say hello.
no subject
[Well, now it'd just be rude not to go pay the guy behind everything a visit. So he'll have to do that at some point.]
Anybody else we know here? If you had one or two of the kiddos, you could probably speed that whole shattering thing along.
no subject
[And here he is, months later, still perfectly stable. That was the odd part. The timestream should be throwing fits.]
Ahhh.. yes. Sora. Riku, though he remembers nothing at all; I intend to put him to better uses. A replica Vexen created named 'Xion'. Demyx is somewhere about but if you see him feel free to shoot him until it ceases being entertaining.
[It's almost offhand, that last bit. Xion however was a mystery, since he didn't actively remember her thanks to what happened with her death.]
They'll all serve whether they wish to or not, but there are things to attend to first that I am seeing to. When did you arrive here? Just now?
no subject
Sounds like quite the group.
[He'll leave it at that. Not much more to be said really. ]
As to when I got here, just now's about right. Maybe a few hours at the most, but definitely no more than that.
no subject
Xemnas disliked surprises but this one wasn't terrible.]
And convenient.
[There's a pause. Hours.] A question, Xigbar.
[He's asked other questions, but this one is important.]
Did you choose to come to this world, or were you brought against your will?
[Which is perhaps another way of asking if Xigbar can leave; Xemnas can't. And he wanted to.]
no subject
[That answers that...right?]
Wasn't planning on showing up here at all. Just sort of...did.
[He can't really explain it, but that's basically what happened.]
no subject
A pack is handed to his kadabra, who shoulders it.]
Then you may not be able to leave when you choose either. If this is so, then on one hand you will be given - or already possess - a heart again, although not the one you lost. But on the other you will be likely subjected to mind numbing boredom as your first real emotion in years.
[All packed up, at least. He's efficient.]
If the former has already happened, I assure you it will be removed when the time comes. Inconvenient things.
no subject
[Good thing the heart thing's...not really an issue at this point.]
Can't say I missed that one.
no subject
[A pause, then the thought's simply shaken off as he gets his team in order. Celadon was still a priority, even with Xigbar here.]
If you wind up remaining at the whims of this world, I will bequeath you one of my own pokemon. One must keep up appearances, after all, and a ghost will best suit your own habits of all the types available. I want to be certain your presence is stable before advancing any further.
[If Xigbar's here for long he will be put to work. That's really not going to come as a surprise.]
Until then I suggest finding things to ... amuse yourself with. I would not ordinarily advocate exploration for exploration's sake but it is better than sitting in one place twiddling one's thumbs. With the presence of my other self now being part of the equation, you will defer to him over me if we provide contradicting suggestions.
[That might be a bit stranger. Xemnas willingly giving up command over anything, ever? Then again Xehanort was him, so it's not so much giving up anything as multitasking. The question that follows doesn't seem to be asking permission at all, simply agreement or refusal.]
... Is this acceptable?
no subject
[Makes sense to him that the chain of command would be the original, then Xehanort, then him. Not exactly fun being the low man on the totem pole, but he'll deal.]
All right then, so I'll take a look around, get in touch with the old man, then report back over here. Unless I don't end up staying here that is.
Sorry for delay, seriously hurt my shoulder.
[And given Xemnas seemed to enjoy the sound of his own voice, that's saying a lot.]
If you are removed from the world I will hardly expect you to report in. If you are not, I will wait in Celadon.
[Which is the nearby city; he won't wait forever. A week or so is more than enough time to find Xehanort, peek around, and return for someone of Xigbar's skill. This world however, seemed ... finicky.]
Saw that on the OOC comm. I hope it heals quickly ):
[Unfortunately, he's not going to be here in a week to make that report.]
Guess I should get going then.
no subject
[There was the urge to tell Xigbar to stay a while and do something utterly useless like explain recent events from his perspective, but Xemnas restrains it effortlessly. It didn't matter.
There were more important tasks.]
Be advised that ledges are only one-way, and sharp objects tend to dull themselves nigh instantly. I doubt there will be a problem with your weapons, however.
[Technically they're not sharp. Xemnas returns to organizing his team and his belongings.]
